My stay at Hotel Bonavia in Rijeka was a truly delightful experience from the moment I arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, creating an immediate sense of comfort and hospitality. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive – from the reception area to the room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The room itself was cozy, fresh, and beautifully arranged, which added greatly to the overall experience. The welcome gift was a thoughtful gesture that showed how much the hotel cares about its guests. Small details like this make a big difference and leave a lasting positive impression. Overall, I warmly recommend Hotel Bonavia to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the heart of Rijeka, paired with excellent service and outstanding cleanliness. I would gladly return!

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The service is for sure five stars. The free breakfast is elegant and plentiful and has every imaginable Type of food to satisfy one’s Desire. The water pressure was Great and plenty of hit water. The bathtub was so clean I decided to take a hot bath

High lights: -Nice staff, -Great location. -Very clean everything working -Full fridge - large and comfortable room - bathroom large and new. Low lights: - the decoration it’s not a 4 star hotel. May be in Tito’s Yugoslavia. But not today. Everything was clean and working and well maintained, but is a time trip to the 70s. Perhaps it was only our room. But it’s my honest impression.

It’s ok but definitely not worth the price. Yes, service is good, and location is great, but for the price I’d at least expect to have more than one outlet, bigger shower so that I don’t have to scoop like I’m at the camping site, and I’d expect a room that is taken care of. It’s literally semi-broken I mean I dig the communist 70s style, it’s not about that. It’s just not maintained well.

I haven’t stayed at this hotel, but the receptionist let me play the piano in the lobby and helped me with anything I needed. Super friendly, kind, and always with a big smile. Just wanted to say thanks for such a nice gesture, amazing staff

The entrance of this hotel is truly stunning, giving off a very luxurious vibe right from the start. Breakfast is exceptional—definitely a 10/10 with a great variety and quality. The rooms, while comfortable, could use some updates as they feel a bit dated. One downside for taller guests like me (1.88m) is the bathtub with a shower—it’s a bit small to stand in comfortably. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor improvements needed. I would rate 3 out of 5 but the location is really ideal.

Best location in all Rijeka, wide and comfortable rooms with ample bathrooms… excellent staff, kind and helpful, clean, breakfast buffet is great, a wide selection of food including fresh fruits, vegetables, charcuterie… Parking is very limited outside the hotel, but they offer you a 12€ per night spot at a covered parking lot, just 5 minutes (literally 3 blocks) away from the hotel…. The only “but” I have from this hotel is the rooms are old-fashioned (not in a good way precisely), old rugs, wood finishings including the desk, chair, night stands… if they invest in the renovation of the rooms, it could easily be the best hotel in Rijeka…. Anyways, highly recommended.
